Scott joined the Workforce Resilience Team following a distinguished career within the New Zealand Police Service. Scott worked extensively as a senior police officer in specialist tactical units including public order, dignitary protection in addition to District and Regional operational management roles.

Scott was a Police Forward Commander during the Canterbury Earthquake response (2011) and Christchurch Terror Attack (2019) and has been the planning and operations manager during multiple royal tours, international leader visits and internationally significant events.

Scott has deployed several times to East Timor and the Solomon Islands as a senior commander with both United Nations and New Zealand Police, working closely with Australian and international counterparts.
