Scott maintained a successful and rewarding career as a sworn officer in the Queensland Police Service (QPS) spanning over 26 years, developing a comprehensive suite of skills to assist organisations to build greater resilience within their workforce and reduce risk whilst enhancing operational security and safety.
Scott successfully led the Business and Critical Infrastructure engagement portfolio for the QPS G20 Group where he developed key partnerships, forged lasting relationships and delivered organisational resilience presentations and training to more than 30,000 business professionals across South East Queensland [Gold Award for Customer Focus – QPS Awards for Excellence and Winner, Customer Focus – Premiers Awards for Excellence].
Scott has an excellent working knowledge of security and operational requirements relative to facility and precinct management having performed the role of Facility Manager for Queensland Police Headquarters.
Scott’s strong business & relationship development skills, effective engagement capabilities & entertaining public speaking abilities serve to compliment a broader skill-set which he developed during extensive senior operational & corporate placements within QPS.
Scott’s passion for protecting the community, his drive for creating innovative resilience strategies within organisations, & his detailed knowledge of physical security / safety initiatives for your key assets (people / infrastructure / information) ultimately led to him founding Workforce Resilience in 2015 & now sees him consulting to major Australian public & private sector organisations.
