Protective Security and Intelligence Consultant

Nicole is a mother of five, and former New Zealand Police Officer with over 18 years operational policing experience in law enforcement.

Nicole’s policing career commenced in General Duties / Community Policing roles in Canterbury, where she worked in an operational first response capacity, developing excellent communication and de-escalation skills and capabilities for dealing with conflict, often during highly emotional, and significantly escalated and dangerous incidents. Nicole was working during the 2011 Christchurch Earthquakes, where she operated in first response and high-risk offender recapture coordination roles, subsequently receiving a bravery award for her actions during this highly traumatic time.

As a Police Intelligence Officer, Nicole specialised in field intelligence, data analysis, training, and crime prevention initiatives to support frontline and specialised policing teams in addressing community safety concerns. Nicole also worked in an interagency task force where she provided advice and analysis to support initiatives aimed at reducing recidivism rates of prisoners reintegrating into the community.
